龍雲(一八八七——一九六二年),雲南省昭通人,彝族。他早年畢業於雲南講武堂。曾歷任國民黨政府雲南省主席、滇黔綏靖公署主任昆明行營主任等要職。抗日戰爭時期,龍雲在中國共產黨抗日民族統一戰线政策的感召以及進步力量的影響下,對抗戰和民主革命事業作出過貢獻。一九四五年十月,卽抗日戰爭勝利後不久,蔣介石免去他在雲南省的一切職務,調任‘國民政府’軍事參議院院長,明為升遷,實同軟禁。一九四七年冬,龍雲擺脫了回民黨‘軍統’的探制,秘密離南京赴香港,同蔣介石决裂。一九四八年十二月龍雲在香港參加由李濟深、何香凝等組成的中國國民黨革命委員會。一九四九年十月,新中國成立,龍雲從香港囘到首都北京,歷任中央人民政府委員,人民革命軍事委員會委員,全國人民代表大會常務委員會委員、國防委員會副主席及民革中央副主席等職。一九五七年,在反右派運動中,龍雲曾被錯劃爲右派,一九八○年已宣佈為他平反。
Long Yun (1887 - 1962), Zhaotong, Yunnan Province, Yi. He graduated from Yunnan early Wu Tutang. During the period of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Long Yun contributed to the cause of the Anti-Japanese War and the democratic revolution under the inspiration of the policy of the Chinese Communist Party in the anti-Japanese national united front and the progressive forces. Shortly after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in October 1945, Chiang Kai-shek was relieved of all his duties in Yunnan Province and was transferred to the head of the Military Senate of the ’Kuomintang government.’ In the winter of 1947, Long Yun got rid of the exploration of the ’military and civilian system’ of the Muslim Democratic Party and secretly left Nanjing for Hong Kong to break with Chiang Kai-shek. In December 1948, Long Yun participated in the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang (KMT) in China, consisting of Li Jishen, He Xiangning and others. In October 1949, after the founding of new China, Long Yun returned from Hong Kong to the capital city of Beijing and served successively as a member of the Central People’s Government, a member of the People’s Revolutionary Military Commission, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, a vice chairman of the National Defense Commission, and a vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee Other staff. In 1957, during the anti-rightist movement, Long Yun was wrongly designated as the rightist and was declared as his vindication in 1980.
