In modern cities, the hallmark of people’s living standards is not only good housing but also the quality of the entire living environment. The complete living environment includes both indoor and outdoor areas. To create a good outdoor environment, greening is an important factor. This article combines the planning and design of environmental greening of Luzhuang Residential Quarter in Wuxi City, and discusses the guiding ideology and planning conception of environmental greening planning and design in residential quarters. I. Guiding Ideology of Environmental Greening With the continuous change of human habitation, people’s living circle gradually expands into the external space of the house. Therefore, the residential environment greening plan is not just a simple planting design, but the government should comprehensively analyze the connection between the residential, human, and the environment.
