In current new style schools,there are departments of “historical narrative”(li shi,历史)and ones of “narrative”(shi史).Yet,different names make no difference to curriculum,which truly deserves a true reflection upon the existence of the concept of “narrative” as embedded in the new stryle curriculum design.This paper attempts to go through modern consciousness of this,looking to it that,“modern history”is originally a result of spheric unbalance,East and West,Ancient and Modern.Also,it is a “narrative”of other species.Discourses upon the origin witness difference in contemporality;and,reflection upon the subject in the past proves“histories”in difference.Consequently,be it in the discipline of “narrative”or in that of “historical narrative”,as caged is always the subject as reflected in “histroies”.
