The CYL activity is an effective form for CYL organizations in colleges and universities to strengthen the ideological building of the CYL and carry out self-education on the ideological education among the CYL members and youth from CYL members. In the light of the characteristics, hot spots and difficulties of youth members in the new century, we should actively organize influential, effective, distinctive and lively group activities that combine ideological, educational, informative and entertaining activities and constantly strengthen the ideological building of the CYL. Strengthening the cohesion and combat effectiveness of grassroots league branches is a new task that the Communist Youth League of the university faces in the new century. In order to further strengthen the ideological building of the CYL, CYL organizations in universities should continue to strengthen their research and exploration so that the CYL activity becomes the ideological building activity of distinctive CYL groups, and gradually embark on the flexible operation mechanism and proper management measures.
