引言河口形态学的定义各家说法不一,Pritchard(in Lauff,1967)和许多英国学者把它看作是《与外海自由相通的一片半封闭的海岸区域,在其间,海水被来自陆地排放的水体所稀释,且其稀释的程度是可测的》。在通常情况下,这个广泛的定义可以包括附有冰川的峡湾、存在拦门沙的河口以及由地质原因而构成的河口等。
INTRODUCTION The definition of estuary morphology varies from one case to another. Pritchard (in Lauff, 1967) and many British scholars see it as “a semi-enclosed coastal area freely connected with the open sea, during which seawater is released from land Water dilution, and the degree of dilution is measurable. ” Under normal circumstances, this broad definition can include the fjord with glaciers, estuaries with barren sand and estuaries formed by geological reasons.
