人本主义学习理论的基本原则是必须尊重学习者;必须把学习者视为学习活动的主体;必须重视学习者的意愿、情感,需要和价值观;相信学生的潜能,重视师生间情感融洽、气氛适宜的学习情境。在美术教学中,借鉴人本主义有益的学习观进行教学,重视学生的需要和意愿,为学生营造美的学习情境,陶冶学生的情操。尊重学生的自主意识和选择,使学生愉快、自然地发挥艺术想象力和创造力,发展自己的艺术潜能。
