The development of society and economy inevitably cause and promote the process of population urbanization, which is the inevitable trend of social development. With the development of China’s urban and rural economic system reform, especially the adjustment of rural industrial structure, the situation of “confrontation” between urban and rural areas in our country is being broken down in an all-round way. The urban-rural linkages are getting closer and closer. The urban and rural commodity economy is booming day by day. The process of urbanization accelerated. Based on the basic situation of urban and rural population changes in Henan Province, this paper analyzes the main factors restricting the urbanization of population in Henan Province and tries to find ways to improve the urbanization level of Henan population.
