研究了预电离到各种电子密庹的大气压氦气中10.6徵米高功率激光脉冲的焦点体积内、电离的建立与气体击穿过程。在没有预电离对,击穿所需的激光通量与以前的一些作者得到的结杲相符,并表明了对于焦点体积大小的同样的依赖关系。然而,在初始电子密度高对,阈值则低得多,而且与体积无共。此结杲表明,在预电离的情况下,击穿阈值由级联的电离辻程所控制,而没有弱电离时,它则由其它的诸如气体中小杂屑粒子的效应所支配,而其它这些效应可能是导致击穿阈值与直径有关的原因。
