任伯年（1840——1895年）是中国近代著名画家。擅长人物、花鸟,造型构图、用色都别出新意,是“海派三杰”之一,对20世纪中国画的发展影响极其深远。任伯年传世作品很多.风格早、中、晚有别。谋利仿造其画者大有人在,大量赝品流入市场;并且,任氏子女、学生也常仿其作渔利于市,这更使情况复杂、真赝难辨,为我们鉴别真伪造成重重障碍。
