学习英语的目的在于用英语进行交际,英语教学的目的是使学生具备交际能力,交际原则应是英语教学的首要原则。初中英语的教学目的是使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识,培养学生在交际中初步运用英语的能力。为了达到这一目的,就要改变教学中以教师为中心,偏重语法结构的分析、讲解及机械的句型操练的教学模式。这种教学模式既违背了素质教育的“以学生为主体”的原则,又背离了英语教学的基本规律。因此,在教师要以学生为中心,加强训练指导,加大学生自学的活动量,从而发挥其“主体”作用,特别是在以下两方面要加强口语训练。
The purpose of learning English is to communicate in English. The purpose of English teaching is to enable students to have communicative competence. The principle of communication should be the primary principle of English teaching. The purpose of junior high school English teaching is to enable students to master a certain amount of basic knowledge of English and develop their ability to use English in communication. In order to achieve this goal, we should change the instructional mode in which the teacher is the center, pays more attention to the analysis of the grammatical structure, and explains the mechanical sentence pattern practice. This teaching mode not only violates the principle of “student-centered” of quality education, but also deviates from the basic rules of English teaching. Therefore, teachers should take the student as the center, strengthen the training instruction and increase the students’ self-learning activities, so as to play their role of “main body ”, especially in the following two aspects to strengthen oral training.
