盗版软件对软件企业的收入所造成的损失巨大。根据行业统计,盗版软件的使用造成全球软件开发商每年收入的损失高达290亿美金,仅美国就损失了60亿美金。在东欧,正在使用的软件有约71%是盗版软件。在一些亚洲和东欧国家,超过90%的软件都是盗版。盗版在行业中造成的冲击十分明显,盗版引起的潜在收入损失可以用于升级当前产品,开发新产品和降低海外市场价格。而合法用户和开发商则由于用自己的收益资助了“非法”用户从而遭受损失。
Piracy software on the revenue of the software company caused a huge loss. According to industry statistics, the use of pirated software caused worldwide software developers to lose as much as $ 29 billion in annual revenue and $ 6 billion in the U.S. alone. In Eastern Europe, about 71% of the software being used is pirated software. In some Asian and Eastern European countries, more than 90% of the software is pirated. The impact of piracy in the industry is clear, and potential revenue losses from piracy can be used to upgrade current products, develop new products and lower the prices in overseas markets. Legitimate users and developers suffer as a result of using their own proceeds to fund “unlawful” users.
