《伤心咖啡馆之歌》是美国南方女作家卡森·麦卡勒斯的代表作之一。麦卡勒斯在创作过程中,经常将目光聚焦于普通人,其小说中的主人公也主要以普通社会大众为切入对象,紧紧贴近底层,运用夸张的手法反映了当时美国社会中下层大众的真实生活状态。《伤心咖啡馆之歌》讲述了发生在美国南方小镇的一段畸形的三角恋爱。本文从价值观念的歪曲、性别观念的畸形以及爱情方式的排斥三方面,浅析造成爱情悲剧的原因。
