中国农业大学人文与发展学院为了使其在中国社会与发展研究领域具有领先地位,将其打造成为一个创新的、世界一流的国际学术研究机构,成立了国际顾问委员会,专门为学院的发展和能力建设提出科学合理的建议。2004年2月19日至21日,学院在北京龙城皇冠假日酒店召开了为期三天的中国农业大学人文与发展学院国际顾问委员会暨当代中国农村发展问题国际研讨会。
