本文认为，古诗的英译不但要求翻译工作者对我国的古代文学知识有全面、深刻的了解和认识，而且还需要他们有良好的翻译技巧。同时，一些对作品背景知识的注解也会有助于读者更好地理解
This paper argues that the English translation of ancient poems not only requires translators to have a comprehensive and profound understanding of ancient Chinese literature and knowledge, but also requires them to have good translation skills. At the same time, some notes on the background of a piece of work can also help the reader to understand it better
