我国社会正在进入一个非常的历史时期,比起经济领域,在世界经济一体化的本世纪中,我们在文化和道德建设方面所面临的挑战似乎更大些。经济高速增长过程中急剧的社会变动,给传统的伦理和道德带来了巨大的冲击与困惑,而作为观念的文学,也越来越倾向于对世俗欲望的展示,越来越丧失其社会批判的锋芒和道德理性。文学的意义到底是什么?在政治和社会关怀之上,文学是否还负有道德和人性关怀的责任和使命?自本期起,《清明》和《安徽文学》编辑部将联合举行“文学的道德关怀”大讨论,以期在文学创作界和思想理论界的广泛参与下,为重整情感秩序、营造文学的道德氛围,做出一点尝试和努力。我们希望能够听到不同的声音,甚至尖锐对立的声音,更希望在理想主义和终极价值几乎被欲望淹没的现阶段,借助于这场讨论,能够重新唤起人们对于彼岸的记忆。
