王老归国后,在大连大学工学院担任物理系主任。上世纪五十年代初,我国高等院校进行了大范围的院系调整,大连工学院物理系整体迁入东北人民大学物理系(现为吉林大学)。由于发展我国仪器科技事业的需要,王老调往中国科学院,筹建仪器馆(长春光机所的前身)。院系调整时,国务院、高教部决定聘请清华大学资深教授余瑞璜先生到东北人民大学物理系担任主任,而余先生又是王老在清华大学求学时的老师,这就结下了与吉林大学的情结。
After the reign of Wang Lao, director of the Department of Physics at Dalian University of Technology. In the early 1950s, China’s colleges and universities conducted a wide range of departments to adjust the Department of Physics, Dalian Institute of Technology as a whole moved to the Northeast Renmin University Department of Physics (now Jilin University). Due to the need to develop the science and technology of China’s instrument industry, Wang Laocu transferred to the Chinese Academy of Sciences and set up an instrument hall (the predecessor of Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics). When the faculty was adjusted, the State Council and the Ministry of Higher Education decided to hire Mr. Yu Ruihuang, a senior professor at Tsinghua University, to be the director of the Department of Physics of Northeast Renmin University. Mr. Yu is also a teacher of Wang Lao at Tsinghua University, Complex.
