缓进给成形磨削工艺是一项先进的金属加工技术,国外早在六十年代就在生产中应用,七十年代取得很大进展。近年来,随着计算机技术的进步,工艺更趋成熟。我国从七十年代中期开始研制,但由于种种原因,未能形成批量生产能力,每年需花费大量外汇从国外进口。1988年北北中国机床工具博览会展出了杭州机床厂生产的HZ—037缓进给成形磨床。该磨床成功地进行了多种磨削试验,如游标卡尺尺框槽尺身一次成形磨削,槽底平行度为0.01毫米,游标卡尺尺框槽、外形、尺身正反面槽等一次磨去量2~4毫米;又如锯片铣刀齿形成形磨削时,砂轮按齿形要求修整,几十片铣刀叠合一起加工。
