由第二届上海市统计学会发起,146位市统训学会会员和6位热心于统计事业的企业家共同集资组成的全国第一家民办集体性质的统计机构——上海联合统汁事务所(原称上海统计事务所)已成立一年多了.这个事务所是在国家统计局和上海市统计局的支持之下建立的.它是以一批离退休统计干部、专家和教授为骨于所组建的.其业务方针是,当好政府统汁邪门的助手,加强基层统计建设,竭诚为基层企业服务,增强社会各界对统计工作的认识,并扩大统计工作在社会上的影响.具体来说,就是提高企业统计人员的素质和业务水平;提高统计资料的利用率,使统计资料发挥更大的作用;提高企业的经济效益,通过改进统计工作,提高企业的经营管理水平,使企业创造更多的财富;提高统计工作地位,使之在企业竹理中发挥更大的作用;增强统计队伍、特别是离退休老同志的凝聚力,做到老有所为。
