同步电机的励磁通常采用直流。由于电力电子技术的发展,便实现了交流励磁,此时的励磁调节参量有3个:频率、幅值和相位。从而可灵活地调节有功功率、无功功率及功率因数,扩大了机组的运行范围,有利于电网稳定。它适用于水头多变的电站,尤其是抽水蓄能电站。由于转速可调,可使机组经常处于最优工况下运行,从而提高运行效率,扩大运行范围,取得重大经济效益。
Synchronous motor excitation is usually DC. Due to the development of power electronics technology, AC excitation has been realized. At this time, there are three excitation adjustment parameters: frequency, amplitude, and phase. Thus, active power, reactive power, and power factor can be flexibly adjusted, which expands the operating range of the unit and helps stabilize the power grid.
