APC556步枪是B&T公司专为警用开发的一款自动步枪,采用活塞短行程导气方式,枪机旋转式闭锁方式,枪管长有254mm和308mm两种可选,枪管口部装有北约标准的鸟笼形消焰器,发射5.56×45mm NATO弹,弹匣容弹量30发,与北约标准的STANG弹匣通用。该枪上机匣与护手均采用铝合金材料制成,机匣顶部及护手四周均设有皮卡汀尼导轨。图中护手右侧导轨加装有战术灯;护手下方导轨装有多功能前握把,前握把内部设有可快速展开的简易两脚架,打开两脚架后可架在地上射击。握把及下机匣组件采用聚合物材料制成,握把上方的快慢机两侧均有设置,有保险、单发和连发3个位置。空
