在阅读文章中,不可避免地会遇到一些不认识的单词。这时,许多学生往往立即翻词典,既费时费力,影响阅读速度,又不利加深记忆,还影响对整篇文章的理解。那么,怎样才能做到既提高阅读速度,又增强阅读理解能力呢?这就需要一定的阅读技巧,比如说猜测词义。猜测词义有许多方法,但归纳起来大体有两大类。一类是:从生词本身猜测词义,即利用构词知识,如词缀、词性转换、复合词等猜测词义。另一类是:通过上下文猜测词义。本文就如何通过上下文猜测词义谈一些看法,以供参考。
In reading the article, I will inevitably encounter some unknown words. At this time, many students often turn over dictionaries immediately, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, slows reading speed, degrades memory and affects understanding of the whole article. So, how can we not only improve reading speed, but also enhance reading comprehension? This requires some reading skills, such as guess the meaning of words. There are many ways to guess the meaning, but summed up there are two broad categories. One is: guess the word meaning from the word itself, that is, the use of word formation knowledge, such as affixes, part of speech conversion, compound words, such as guessing meaning. The other is: guess the meaning of the word by context. This article talks about how to guess the meaning of words by context for reference.
