耿世民教授的巨著《回鹘文哈密本〈弥勒会见记〉研究》,2008年由中央民族大学出版社出版发行。该成果终于填补了一项空白。该书结构合理、写作规范;立意深邃、高瞻远瞩;直面现实;语言质朴、浅显易懂,为研究回鹘文文献语言提供了翔实的材料,也为研究佛教在塔里木盆地的传播提供了事实材料。该书可以称得上是我国乃至世界维吾尔古代文献研究的集大成之作。
Professor Geng Shimin’s masterpiece, “Back to 鹘 text Hami Ben” Maitreya Memoir “research”, published by the Central University for Nationalities Publishing House in 2008. The result finally filled a blank. The book is reasonable in structure and writing norms; deep conception, far-sighted; face the reality; the language is simple, easy to understand, provides informative materials for the study of Uygur literary language, also provides factual material for the study of Buddhism spread in the Tarim Basin. The book can be described as a masterpiece of the study of ancient Uighur literature in China and the world.
