In recent years, various bioadhesive polymers have been used in drug delivery systems. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficacy of a new non-invasive, salivary-activated Bioadhesive Drug Delivery System (SABDDS) in place of dental infusion anesthesia. MATERIALS AND METHODS Non-toxic SABDDS 1.5mg ~ 2 size 20mg lidocaine hydrochloride and lidocaine gel were selected according to the standard, and evaluated in three phases: (1) Three healthy subjects were used as a trial to evaluate subjectively Anesthetic dosage forms and gingival mucosal adhesion performance and efficacy peak. ② Five volunteers as SABDDS and commercially available surface gel contrast evaluation.
