诸国本主任医师,中国民族医药学会会长,国家中医药管理局原副局长。1935年12月出生,江苏无锡人。1957年9月毕业于复旦大学新闻系。毕业后,直接分配至青海省卫生部门工作,先后从事卫生防疫工作10年,中医、针灸临床10年,中医药行政管理20年。其中1957至1986年,在青海工作,计30年。1969-1978在西宁市大堡子卫生院当中医、针灸医师期间,参与了青海省中草药资源调查。1978年调入青海省卫生厅。1982年以后任中医处处长,卫生厅副厅长。1986年调北京,任国家中医药管理局副局长。1997年任中国民族医药学会会长。诸国本有较好的文科功底。在长期的卫生工作实践中,对中医基础理论、中医史、中医各家学说、本草学和民族医学颇有研究。在西宁市卫生防疫站和西宁市大堡子卫生院工作时,先后参加过西宁市西医离职学习中医班、西宁市基础内科进修班学习两年,并在青海医学院进修生理学和生物化学两门课程,从而为中西医的沟通打下了基础。1985年,应邀在青海医学院中医系讲授《中医各家学说》课程。著有《西宁中草药》、《医门清议》、《医道与文采》等著作,编辑过《中国的民族医学》汇编两册,并与崔月犁先生合编出版了《中医沉思录》。

In Xining City Health and Epidemic Prevention Station and Xibao Da Baozi Hospital, Xining City, has participated in the separation of Chinese medicine classes in Western medicine, Xining City, basic medical education classes for two years, and in the College of Physiology and Biochemistry in Qinghai two courses , Which laid the foundation for the communication between Chinese and Western medicine. In 1985, he was invited to give lectures on “Doctrine of Traditional Chinese Medicine” in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qinghai Medical College. He is the author of two books, “Chinese Herbal Medicine of Xining”, “Qingyi of Ximen Gate”, “Medical Doctrines and Wen Cai”, edited two volumes of “Ethnomedicine in China”, edited and published “Meditations of Traditional Chinese Medicine” with Cui Yueli.
