“送君送到大路旁,君的恩情永不忘,农友乡亲心里亮,隔山隔水永相望……”电影《怒潮》中,他用歌曲《送别》为我们描绘出“一壶浊酒尽余欢”的柔情,让人感叹别情凄凄;“美丽的夜色多沉静,草原上只留下我的琴声,想给远方的姑娘写封信,可惜没有邮递员来传情……”纪录片《绿色的原野》中,他用一首《草原之夜》为我们勾勒出夜晚明净、爱意迷蒙的深邃意境,依稀中听见虫叫起伏、牛马嘶鸣;“二呀么二郎山,高呀么高万丈,古树荒草遍山野,巨石满山冈……”巍巍二郎山上,他与康藏线筑路部队一起抗风雪战严寒,有着如钢的决心,誓要把公路修到西藏。他,就是总政歌舞团著名歌唱家、作曲家孟贵彬。人们常说,鱼和熊掌不可兼得,但孟贵彬似乎是个特例,他不但拥有一副好嗓子,还有着出色的创作能力。如今,虽已进入耄耋之年,但孟贵彬对于音乐的热情却丝毫没有减弱,谈话至动情之处,总唱起那早已耳熟能详的经典之作。闭目、打拍、哼唱,尽管老人的歌喉已不再洪亮,但却依然能够感受到那歌声中传递出的悠悠深情,不禁让人称赞,“抒情歌王”宝刀不老。孟贵彬,河北深县人。曾任八路军120师战斗剧社演员、西北军区战斗剧社音乐股副股长。新中国成立后,任西南军区文工团歌剧队队长,1958年毕业于中央音乐学院声乐进修班。后历任总政治部歌舞团独唱组组长、国防科委文化部副部长兼文工团团长,曾获三级独立自由勋章、三级解放勋章。演唱的歌曲有《歌唱二郎山》、《西北农民歌唱毛主席》、《草原之夜》等,创作的歌曲有《支援农业车马忙》、《一个共产党员的自白》等。
