剧作家宋之的四月十七日下午二时二十七分在北京病逝,享年四十二歲。他在三月間患肝臟硬化症,經中、西名医治療無效。宋之的是中國共產党員、中国人民解放軍上校。生前任中国人民解放軍总政治部文化部文艺处長,全國文联全国委員,作协理事,剧协常务理事,“剧本”編委。一九三二年在北京参加中国共產党领導的左翼戲剧家联盟,开始从事革命活动。二十多年來會經创作了許多优秀的作品。他的代表作有报告文学“一九三六年春在太原”,剧本“武則天”、“霧重慶”、“春
The playwright Song Zhi died at Beijing’s capital at two twenty-seven in the afternoon of April 17 at the age of forty-two. He suffered from cirrhosis of the liver in March and was ineffective in treatment of Chinese and Western doctors. Song Zhi is a member of the Chinese Communist Party and Colonel of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. In his lifetime, he served as Director of Literature and Art of the Ministry of Culture of the General Political Department of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, member of the National Federation of Literature and Art, director of the Writers Association, executive director of the Drama Association, and editor of the “script”. In 1932, he joined the left-wing dramatist alliance led by the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing and began to engage in revolutionary activities.
