这是一个关于生存和希望的故事。生在香港成长于异乡的加拿大人关卓中和甄国健Kwoi,历时6年多,走遍天涯海角,拍摄纪录片《中餐馆》,纪录散居世界3600万海外华人的喜怒哀乐。他们许多早年出国,极尽血汗泪经营餐馆,为抚育后代付出一生。终于,有人来听他们讲述自己的故事。这部纪录片很好看,视听娱乐趣味、人情伦理兼备,还概括地呈现了现代中国人的苦难。导演关卓中独资制作,摄影师Kwoi踏遍千山,他们拍摄这些散居海外的中国人的故事、这些中餐馆的古老气息,原来也是对自我身份的一种寻索。
This is a story about survival and hope. Kwani, who grew up in a foreign land in Hong Kong, and Zhen Guo Jian Kwoi, who lasted more than six years, traveled all over the world and filmed the documentary “Chinese Restaurant,” recording the emotions of the 36 million overseas Chinese in the diaspora. Many of them go abroad in their early years, doing their best to run restaurants and pour out their lives for the sake of raising offspring. Finally, someone came to listen to them about their story. This documentary looks good, audio-visual entertainment, both human and ethical ethics, but also generally presents the suffering of modern Chinese. Director Kwan Choi sole proprietorship, photographer Kwoi traveled Qianshan, they filmed these diaspora Chinese people’s story, the ancient flavor of these restaurants, the original is also a search for self-identity.
