The fundamental motive of art development originates from social life. Whenever there is a huge change in social life, the appearance of new social thoughts always brings about changes in the aesthetic psychology of the society, resulting in the reform of the art form. However, only aesthetic psychology itself has a natural tendency of seeking new and different ways. Although it is not the root of the birth of a new art form, which is not a cause for a new art genre, it gives life to vitality and permanent vitality of art in an endless stream. The coexistence with the “new” tendency is the “conservative” aesthetic inertia, which determines the historical coherence of aesthetic activities. In order to make the discussion more simple, this article will focus on exploring the existence and essence of both “innovation” and “conservativeness”
