陈维亚中国当代著名编导,北京舞蹈学院编导系教授。国务院专家特殊津贴获得者,政府“文华奖”评委,文化部高级职称评委,全国舞蹈比赛评委。美国“亚洲文化协会”学者奖金获奖得者。中国舞蹈家协会会员,北京舞蹈家协会会员,东方乐舞交流学会理事,国际华人华裔舞蹈联会会员,北京舞蹈学院学术委员会委员。曾先后担任1999年第六届全国少数民族运动会开幕式大型文艺表演《锦绣中华》总导演。中国1999年昆明世界园艺博览会开幕式大型文艺表演《天地浪漫曲》策划、总导演。与著名电影导演张艺谋合作,为意大利佛罗伦萨歌剧院编排著名歌剧《图兰朵》,在意大利及北京太庙上演。出任庆祝中华人民共和国建国五十周年大型文艺晚会《祖国颂》策划、总导演。出任第五届中国艺术节开幕式《百花赞》策划、总导演。连续出任国家文化部1997、1998、1999三年春节电视文艺晚会策划、总导演。第十二届大连国际服装节开幕式大型文艺表演《新世纪你好!》策划、总导演。曾先后创作舞剧《大漠救煌》、《秦始皇》等舞剧8部,舞蹈《木兰归》、《秦俑魂》等近100个,获各种奖项30多个。
