通过对晚清民初我国中外文数学论文发表情况的历史考察,特别是对《科学世界》和《科学》特殊贡献的解析,认为——在我国晚清时期,欧洲、日本期刊已经从综合性过渡到由专门数学期刊承担数学论文的发表,但我国仍以综合性期刊《科学世界》《科学》等来担当;反观数学新学科的生成以及数学家的成长,期刊的学科促生功能和学术新秀的培育功能昭然若揭:故必须重视办好各种类型的学术期刊,为学科发展和培养学术新秀创造良好的社会条件和环境,特别是办好外文期刊,以有效传播与交流。
Through the historical investigation of the publication of Chinese-foreign language math essay in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China, especially the analysis of the special contribution of “the scientific world” and “science”, it is believed that in the period of late Qing Dynasty, the periodicals in Europe and Japan have been analyzed from the aspects of comprehensiveness Transition to the publication of mathematical papers by special mathematics journals, but our country still takes the role of the comprehensive journal Science World and Science; on the other hand, the formation of new mathematics disciplines and the growth of mathematicians, the functions and academic promotion of journals Rookie cultivating function is very clear: Therefore, we must attach importance to the operation of various types of academic journals for academic development and training of academic rookie to create good social conditions and environment, especially running good foreign journals in order to effectively spread and exchange.
