广东省石油学会在中国石油学会和省科协的协助下,于一九八○年十二月十日至十六日在广州举办了南海大陆架石油地质学术讨论会。会议邀请了全国有关方面的专家、学者一百多人就海洋石油地质有关问题进行了探讨。会议期间宣读了30多篇论文,这些论文涉及到南海大陆架的形成和演化、区域地质特征、地层和古生物、沉积特征、地震地层学及南海的油气评价等方面。
With the help of China Petroleum Society and CAST, Guangdong Petroleum Institute organized a symposium on the continental shelf petroleum geology of the South China Sea in Guangzhou from December 10 to January 18, 1980. More than 100 experts and scholars from all over the country were invited to discuss issues related to offshore petroleum geology. More than 30 papers were read during the conference. These papers covered the formation and evolution of the continental shelf in the South China Sea, regional geological features, stratigraphy and paleontology, sedimentary characteristics, seismic stratigraphy and oil and gas evaluation in the South China Sea.
