云计算推动石油工业技术发展石油勘探、油藏动态模拟等领域计算量巨大,地震勘探过程中一般二维数据可达1~2TB,三维数据更是高达几百TB甚至PB级。云计算通过服务器将任务分解,达到分布式计算的效能,提高计算效率;在油气管道工业,基于云计算的代表性技术ViSiVi(virtual-site-visits)是获得管道工业协会奖的在线数据管理和集成工具,可在线获取图像信息,提高管道选线和决策效率;基于云计算的SCADA系统改进了管道运行可靠性,可大幅度削减管道运营费用,SCADA系统联接到云服务器上可形成远程观看、记录和获取数据。
Cloud Computing Promotes Technological Development in Petroleum Industry Computation is huge in areas such as oil exploration and reservoir dynamics simulation. Generally, two-dimensional data can reach 1 to 2TB in seismic exploration, and three-dimensional data can reach as high as hundreds of terabytes or even petabytes.
