(一)和平运动是团结国际友人为维护和平而斗争的民主运动。这个运动是关系全世界人民的利益的,当然也关系我国人民的利益。和平运动,假使从一九四九年巴黎——布拉格第一届世界保卫和平大会起算,已经有三年多的历史了。经过三年的努力,这一国际民主运动也有了不断的展开。特别是经过最近在维也纳召开的世界人民和平大会,世界人民为维护和平而团结一致的斗争更有了新的巨大的发展。我现在准备把世界人民和平大会的经过和成就向本次会议提出报告。(二)
(1) Peace Movement is a democratic movement that unites international friends to fight for peace. This movement is of interest to the people all over the world and of course to the interests of our people. The peace movement has been in existence for more than three years, starting from the 1949 Paris-Prague First World Conference on Peacekeeping. After three years of hard work, this international democracy movement has also been continuously expanded. In particular, following the recent World Peace Congress in Vienna, new tremendous new developments have taken place in the struggle for the unity of the peoples of the world in the maintenance of peace. I am now going to submit a report to this meeting on the progress and achievements of the World People’s Peace Assembly. (two)
