随着改革开放的深入发展，社会主义市场经济体制的确立，广大民族地区与发达的东部地区间的差距进一步拉大。中央提出了经济发展向中西部倾斜的大政方针，我国民族地区，特别是沿边民族地区，要适应新形势发展的需要，充分发挥自己的优势，在这一新的潮流中勇往直前。本文试图从一个全新的角度，提出振兴沿边民族地区经济的措施与对策，深入地分析了沿边民族地区封闭、半封闭的经济状况，提出了双向循环的关键是发展边境贸易 With the deepening of reform and opening up and the establishment of a socialist market economic system, the gap between the vast ethnic minority areas and the developed eastern region has further widened. The Central Committee has proposed a major political principle that economic development should be inclined to the Midwest.
