在民族地区开展学前双语教育对发展民族教育、促进民族团结、繁荣民族地区经济文化具有重要意义。新疆维吾尔自治区党委、政府分别于2004年、2005年出台了《关于大力推进双语教学工作的决定》、《关于加强少数民族学前双语教育的意见》。这些指导新疆少数民族双语教学的重要文件旨在遵循语言学习规律,从语言学习的关键期抓起,为少数民族中小学和幼儿园全面实施双语教学奠定基础。
Carrying out pre-school bilingual education in minority areas is of great significance for developing ethnic education, promoting national unity and prospering the economic and cultural conditions in ethnic regions. The party committees and governments in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region promulgated the “Decision on Vigorously Promoting Bilingual Education” and the “Opinions on Strengthening Pre-school Bilingual Education for Ethnic Minorities” in 2004 and 2005, respectively. These important documents that guide the bilingual education of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang are aimed at following the law of language learning and starting from the critical period of language learning so as to lay the foundation for the full implementation of bilingual education in minority primary and secondary schools and kindergartens.
