编制检索工具是档案馆(室)业务工作的一项重要基本建设,也是当前总结、提高档案工作的基本内容之一。我们应该努力把这项基本建设抓好。常德地区各级档案局(馆)在恢复、整顿、总结、提高过程中,完成了馆藏的和需进馆的制卡、编目工作任务。下面刊登的两篇文章是他们的认识和作法的介绍,供参考。这两篇文章是由常德地区档案局蹇敦品同志执笔写的、由编者改编的。
The compilation of search tools is an important capital construction for the archives (room) business and one of the basic contents of the current summarization and improvement of archival work. We should try our best to make this capital construction a good one. The archives bureaus (archives) at all levels in Changde completed the task of preparing and cataloging and cataloging their cards and catalogs for restoration, rectification, summary and improvement.
