Symantec, which just hit analysts ’forecasts with its massive fourth-quarter profit, unveiled Mobile update at NetWorld + Interop - a program designed to keep mobile users’ critical files up-to-date. Officials at the company said the software consists of a server software running on Windows NT 4.0 and client software running on the user’s PC, which can be used to transfer the latest files via e-mail. The server software is located in the corporate network, you can monitor the changes to the file, such as the update of quotations. It then updates the information at pre-set intervals.
