In recent years, the development trend of French thermal power station steam boiler structure is based on heavy oil as the basic fuel. Due to declining coal resources and rising fuel prices, the company has in fact only ordered oil-fired boilers since 1968 or had to convert early coal-fired units to fuel. On the other hand, the corresponding rise in fuel prices and operating depreciation rates has led to improvements in the basic parameters of thermal power units to suit the best economy. At the same time, designers are provided with new types of structures due to their increasingly sophisticated calculation methods.
