Mexico’s oil industry is promoting large-scale nationalization reform, and for the first time to open the door to foreign investment, thus creating huge business opportunities. In 2013, Mexico launched a historic energy legislative reform that further consolidated the process of nationalization in 2014. Right now, the 75-year monopoly of Pemex has come to an end and it is actively attracting foreign partners.
