随着我国改革开放和经济建设的深入发展,社会对大学毕业生的英语应用能力提出了更高的要求。为了适应时代对跨文化交际人才的需求,1999年秋季我国大学英语教学开始实施新的教学大纲。新大纲虽然强调了学生的语言输出能力,如说和写的培养,但仍然坚持把“培养学生具有较强的阅读能力”摆在大学英语教学目的的首位。这是因为,根据调查,“阅读能力仍然是大部分大学生今后工作所需的主要技能。阅读是掌握知识、获取信息、提高语言应用能力的基础,因此,在大学英语教学中始终都应注重阅读能力的培养”。那么,如何摒弃陈旧的教学观念,将语篇分析引入大学英语阅读课,以实现培养学生具有较强的阅读能力的目的呢?对此,笔者谈谈自己的想法和教学体会。
With the deepening of China’s reform and opening up and economic construction, society has put forward higher requirements on the English proficiency of college graduates. In order to meet the demand of intercultural communicative talents in the era, in the autumn of 1999, the college English teaching in our country started to implement a new teaching syllabus. Although the new syllabus emphasizes students’ ability of language output, such as writing and speaking, they insist on “cultivating students with strong reading ability” in the first place of college English teaching. This is because, according to the survey, reading ability is still the major skill that most college students need for their future work. “Reading is the foundation for acquiring knowledge, acquiring information and improving the ability of language application. Therefore, it should always be emphasized in college English teaching Training of reading ability ”. So, how to abandon outdated teaching concepts, the introduction of discourse analysis in college English reading class, in order to achieve the purpose of training students with a strong reading ability? In this regard, I talk about their own ideas and teaching experience.
