微机电系统(MEMS)加速度计已成为移动设备省电设计的重要元件。内建高通滤波器并具备自由落体侦测功能的加速度计,能藉由一支中断接脚为处理器提供可靠的唤醒和无动作侦测信号,让手机系统毋须完全启动处理器,即可达成省电模式的切换,进一步节省功耗。智能手机和平板设备为延长使用时间,通常会采用屏幕省电设计,因此,不管用户在使用后是否有动作发生,屏幕都会自动关闭节省能源;若要重新使用功能,就必须再次打开屏幕。
Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) accelerometers have become an important element of the power-saving design of mobile devices. An accelerometer with built-in high-pass filter and free-fall detection provides a reliable wake-up and no-motion detection signal to the processor via an interrupt pin, allowing the handset system to reach the processor without having to fully power on the processor Power-saving mode switch, to further save power. Smartphones and tablets often have screen-saver designs to extend the life of the screen, so the screen automatically shuts down to save energy regardless of user activity after use; the screen must be re-opened for reuse.
