In the period around 1900, the feminist movement became a prairie fire. Many women came together to bravely submit their demands on political and economic rights in the public domain and further promote the awakening of more women’s sense of independence. This upsurge fundamentally changed women’s universal living conditions and personal development opportunity. In the art world, this change is reflected in the emergence of a more assertive, independent and creative female artist community. The feminist movement won the space for their pursuit of artistic life, and the independent and free spirit of the feminist movement integrated their active exploration in the modern art field. Here we have selected a series of female artists living in Munich, Germany around 1900 As the core memoir, to reproduce the close connection between the feminist movement and the female artist’s creative activities of that year, to gaze at this special cross-section of the history of modern art and hope to stimulate more interaction on gender, society, culture and art Relationship thinking.
