波兰著名作曲家肖邦(1810—1849),1930年离开祖国波兰去法国学习,当时波兰正处于俄、奥、普三国的统治下,1831年华沙起义失败后肖邦定居巴黎,从事创作和教学。肖邦在国外,时刻关怀着祖国的命运,以他的音乐鼓舞祖国人民反抗侵略的斗争,不少作品反映了他对被侵占的故国家园的怀念,对民族独立的期望和忧国伤时的悲愤心情。一些朋友知道他对祖国的热爱,曾赠给他一个银杯,里面装满了波兰的泥土。1849年十月,肖邦临终前,知道波兰的反动统治者不会允许把它的遗体运回祖国去,便向姐姐说:“把我的心脏带回去吧! 如今,在巴黎的肖邦墓地上,撒有他祖国波兰的泥土,而在华沙的教堂里,埋藏着肖邦的心脏。
Chopin (1810 - 1849), a famous Polish composer, left Poland to go to France to study in Poland in 1930, when Poland was under the rule of Russia, Austria and the United Kingdom. After the failure of the Warsaw Uprising in 1831, Chopin settled in Paris and engaged in creation and teaching. Chopin abroad always cares about the fate of the motherland and uses his music to inspire the people of the motherland to fight against aggression. Many works reflect his remembrance of the occupied country, the expectation of national independence and the grief mood. Some friends knew his love for the motherland and had given him a silver cup filled with Polish soil. Before Chopin’s death in October 1849, knowing that the reactionary ruler of Poland would not allow his body to be returned to the motherland, he said to his sister, "Take my heart back! Now, at the Chopin cemetery in Paris, Spread the soil of his native Poland, while in the church in Warsaw, buried Chopin’s heart.
