The authors found that CO ~ (2+) produced a very sensitive catalytic wave (E = -1.26 V, relative to saturated calomel electrode) in the presence of NH 2 OH in the bibenzoyl dioxime ammonia hydroxide medium. The mechanism of this catalytic wave was discussed and applied directly to the analysis of biological and environmental samples.
