1992年12月9日,中共中央政治局委员、书记处书记、中宣部部长丁关根同志到人民日报社,同报社编委会成员座谈,听取了社长兼总编辑邵华泽同志的汇报;其后,又看了报社的一些材料。他对进一步办好人民日报提出了明确的要求和殷切的希望。丁关根同志还会见了报社局以上领导干部,并很有兴趣地参观了电脑照排和传输系统。
