有必要建立国际公认的工程教育质量保证体系,以确保和提高教育质量和水准;也有必要建立国际通行的工程师注册体系,以确保工程师的质量,方便工程毕业生的国际流动。这两个体系是国际学位相互承认和工程师资格相互承认的重要基础。中国制订具有国际可比性的工程教育标准,须加改革力度,内容包括专业调整,教育计划修订,国际合作办学和终身教育等。
It is necessary to establish an internationally accepted quality assurance system for engineering education to ensure and improve the quality and standard of education. It is also necessary to establish an internationally registered system of engineers to ensure the quality of engineers and to facilitate the international mobility of engineering graduates. These two systems are an important foundation for mutual recognition of international degree and mutual recognition of engineer qualifications. To formulate an internationally comparable engineering education standard, China must step up its efforts to reform it, including professional adjustment, revision of education programs, international cooperation in running schools and life-long education.
