很想找个理由,说明写作的缘起。诞生一百四十周年?太早了;逝世七十周年?也太早了。戊戌变法乃康有为一生事业的顶峰,是作文章的好时机,可惜百年祭不能提前。公车上书倒是发生在一八九五年,此乃康氏正式登上政治舞台的象征。寻访当年十八省举人集会地点松筠庵,也是一个好题目,只怕有人已经捷足先登。实在黔驴技穷,只好如实招来:偶然翻书,略有感触,于是写下了这三则不太连贯的札记。
