[Objective] To investigate the clinical application of nickel-chromium alloy inner crowns by comparing the Ni-Cr contents in the urine of patients treated with Ni-Cr alloy fused porcelain crowns. [Method] Totally 51 healthy and intraoral oral prostheses and metal fillers were selected as normal control group. Eighty eight patients repaired with Ni-Cr alloy porcelain crowns were selected as the case group. Nickel-chromium ion content was measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Using SPSS13.0 statistical software to test the results of t test. [Results] The urinary nickel content in the case group was (80.76 ± 7.11) μg / L, which was significantly different from that in the control group (P <0.05). The urinary chromium content was (43.21 ± 3.45) μg / L, The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). [Conclusion] Ni-Cr alloy porcelain crowns have a significant effect on the contents of Ni and Cr in urine.
