“早熟丰产”是新疆细绒棉生产中存在的主要问题.要解决这个问题一方而应从选育早熟品种着手;另一方面要针对细绒棉的生态特征,采取相应的栽培措施.这两方面的工作都需要深入地了解当地气候特点,据此采用适当步骤与相应措施.目前还没有理想的早熟丰产品种,则充分而有效地利用地区的气候资源,有更现实的意义.因此,探讨和揭露新疆发展细绒棉的气候特点,找出在细绒棉生育期中有利和不利的气候条件,从而任制定栽培技术措施时充分利用有利条件,克服不利条件并进而变不利为有利.这个工作,不论现在或将来,都是有现实意义的.
