改革开放,对外开展经济技术合作与交流,招商引资,发展外向型经济,把我们的企业推向国际舞台,参与国际竞争,外文翻译作为唯一不可替代的交流工具,起着越来越重要的作用。但我国大多数企业翻译的外文水平却不能满足这一经济发展的需要,外文水平滞后严重影响着企业的对外合作与发展,从而使绝大多数企业无法自由驰骋于国际经济大舞台上。如企业外文翻译中存在的错译、拙译和怪译等一系列严重问题,不能不引起我们的高度重视。
